WCCF Gives
A Day of Giving — Sept. 12, 2017

Washington County’s Official Community-Wide Day of Giving

What is WCCF Gives?

During this one-day event, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on September 12, all gifts made to participating charities via www.wccfgives.org and all designated WCCF Gives check contributions received by 8 p.m. on that day will be increased by a percentage of a $100,000 bonus pool.

The minimum contribution is only $25, but donors are welcome to give as much and to as many charities as they would like during WCCF Gives.

Share in the excitement of this special event by supporting your favorite local charities through WCCF Gives, Washington County’s official community-wide day of giving.

To date, the Foundation has awarded more than $2,400,000 in grants to local charities through WCCF Gives.

Congratulations to the Clicks for Cash winners!

Pet Search, the all-volunteer animal rescue and placement service based in Washington, won the $3,000 top prize in this year’s Clicks for Cash contest.

Pet Search recorded the most unique webpage views — 5,100 — during the contest, which ran from June 12-18. Coming in at a very close second place was South Hills Pet Rescue and Rehabilitation Resort with 4,920 unique pageviews.

Pet Search will receive its $3,000 prize in the form of an unrestricted grant from WCCF’s Acorn Fund.

Additionally, unrestricted Acorn Fund grants of $500 each will go to the South Hills Pet Rescue and Rehabilitation Resort, The Salvation Army “Washington Corps,” Center in the Woods, and Watchful Shepherd USA. The four nonprofits were selected for the grants randomly via computer program after the contest ended.
